The Poser!!

I took the girls to get their first pictures done with Baby Cayden and they turned out so cute. After getting a couple of the girls with him we took some of just Cayden. He was awake and alert the entire time, which is amazing for him. He also was holding his head up and looking around, which helped us get these adorable pictures of him. Papa Honey (my dad) picked out the cowboy outfit, so we had to get one of him in the hat- of course the hat was HUGE on his teeny tiny head, but we covered it up pretty well!!

Fun Day

We bought the kids this really awesome slide and we used it for the first time this weekend. They loved it even though it was a bit cooler than we had hoped for. They played for a couple of hours until their lips turned blue and their teeth were chattering!! Caleb and Jaycie came over to play with the girls and they all had a blast!! Taryn can't wait to use it again, but it has been so rainy the past week.

Meeting Aunt Kim

Cayden met his Aunt Kim and Cousins Devin and Ashley this weekend. Of course he loved them, because they loved and squeezed on him quite a bit. He loves anyone that will keep his clothes on him, his belly full, and will give him lots of kisses. Kim was just the person for that!! We will be going to see them in Houston soon for his first road trip! Can't wait!

Soccer Time

Taryn and Mackenzie have just started soccer and they are loving it. There is nothing like watching a pack of 4 year olds, that have no clue what they are doing, run after a soccer ball!! Maddi even figured out how to have some fun during practice!

Daddy's Little Man

Cayden absolutely loves his Daddy! Joey can twist and turn him and Cayden couldn't care less. He is very at ease with Joey and when he needs to be calmed down, Joey is the one that can do it with no problem.

Cayden has arrived!!

Well, after all of the waiting...Cayden Joseph Cooper has arrived!! He was born on August 12, 2008 at 6:45 in the morning. Cayden was born 7 lbs 12 oz and he was 22 inches long. I think that he has probably grown in the past week. He is really long and has giant hands, but he is so skinny. Taryn and Maddi adore him and they just can stop kissing and hugging him. Taryn is having a bit of an adjustment problem, but I know that she will work through it and get back to our wonderful little girl. We had a lot of visitors at the hospital and we got a great picture of Caleb, Keegan, and Cayden- all looking at the camera!! We are so happy that he is here and we can't wait to see him reach all of those exciting milestones that are ahead of him.

More Family Pictures

Erin came over the other day and took some fun pictures of our family with Mommy's belly. The girls are getting excited about their little brother and Taryn frequently asks how many more night-nights until he comes out.

Christy and Erin threw me a baby shower for Cayden this weekend and we had a lot of fun. The girls were more interested in the cake than anything else, but they had a great time seeing all of the other kids. We would like to thank everyone for all of the wonderful things that they gave us for our new addition!

We took some pictures of our family the other day, just for fun. Taryn thought it was so funny that I was wearing a dress, I guess because she has never seen me in one before!

Future Flyers

Joey recently got his private pilot's license and took Taryn up in the airplane. She had so much fun that she fell asleep as they landed! She is such a daredevil and can't wait until her Daddy takes her up the airplane again.
