More Family Pictures

Erin came over the other day and took some fun pictures of our family with Mommy's belly. The girls are getting excited about their little brother and Taryn frequently asks how many more night-nights until he comes out.

Christy and Erin threw me a baby shower for Cayden this weekend and we had a lot of fun. The girls were more interested in the cake than anything else, but they had a great time seeing all of the other kids. We would like to thank everyone for all of the wonderful things that they gave us for our new addition!

We took some pictures of our family the other day, just for fun. Taryn thought it was so funny that I was wearing a dress, I guess because she has never seen me in one before!

Future Flyers

Joey recently got his private pilot's license and took Taryn up in the airplane. She had so much fun that she fell asleep as they landed! She is such a daredevil and can't wait until her Daddy takes her up the airplane again.

Growing up so fast!!

Taryn will be turning 5 in a few months and she is growing up so fast! She gave Maddi all of her princess stuff that she had in her room and I let her pick out a new big girl comforter for her room. Her latest obsession is Camp Rock, she loves the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. We walked into Target and the first thing that she saw in the bedroom section was the Camp Rock display. I tried changing her mind, because I wasn't sure how this bedroom set would look in her pink room. There was no changing it, she loved it- and then she reminded me that I said that she could pick out what she wanted. I guess I should be careful with how I word things!!

Updated Pictures of Cayden's Room

Here are some updated pictures of Cayden's room. We have a couple more things to find for the walls, but at least the room is ready when he decides to make his appearance=) Joey and Taryn bought some model airplanes, put them together, and hung them up in the corners of the room- they did so good and Taryn is so proud of what she did with her daddy!

Maddi's New Room

According to Joey and my mom this is my latest nesting project. After seeing Baby Keegan's fabulous nursery, I stole Chris and Erin's stripe idea. I decided that Maddi's room needed stipes- it took me 2 1/2 days to complete, but I did finally complete it. Maddi loves it, she keeps going in there and asking "This my room?" They can't wait to see what my next project is going to be!! I keep telling them that my next project will be to have this baby boy=)

Caleb's B-day

Caleb turned 2 years old recently and Maddi went to his birthday party. The kids had fun playing in the pool and on the big water slide. Maddi, our little daredevil, went down the slide at least 10 times...she loved it! Of course they loved eating the cake and ice cream, that made Maddi's day!

July 4th

We cooked out with Mr. Golden, my parents, Christy, and her family for July 4th. We had a lot of fun playing at Play Park and watching the fireworks. Maddi got a little sleepy while watching the fireworks and she ended up laying down on her Daddy until the show was over.

Taryn- the rockstar

While watching Camp Rock on the Disney Channel, Taryn decided that she was a rockstar and that was why she was wearing every piece of her jewelery that she could find. She also had to be wearing her Hannah Montana jammies to be the official rockstar.

Baby Bump Picture

Just thought that I would include a picture of the baby bump at week 32. We are counting down the weeks now that the room is finished and we are ready for baby!

Taryn's Biking Adventure

Taryn and I decided that we were going to take a walk around the block. She ended up riding her bike all the way around which is about 1/2 a mile. I couldn't believe that she made it that whole way without pooping out on me, but she did. She had a few almost run ins with parked cars, but I was able to help her around them without actually hitting them. I tried to get pictures of her from the front, but every time I would get in front of her she would speed up to pass me.

Dakota goes swimming

While playing in the pool, Taryn discovered that when she splashes Dakota he loves it. They didn't like it so much when Dakota decided to join them in the pool. After that we couldn't keep him out of it!!

Getting Ready for Baby

We have been getting ready for the new addition by getting the car seats cleaned up. Taryn and Maddi have discovered them and they frequently sit in them and act like babies. Taryn tells me that I will need to buy another car seat for the baby, because these are for them. It's pretty sad when your 2 1/2 year old fits into a baby carrier!!
